Argentinian coach Martino is optimistic about Di Maria’s recent foot injury which occurred during their friendly match with Portugal. The United winger was brought to a hospital for X-ray scans after the catch on the foot that he received by Nani early during the game in the first-half at Old Trafford.
Di Maria lied on the ground agonizing right after he got caught on the foot at the eighteenth minute of the match. Surprisingly, the United winger kept on playing until the one-hour mark got him a replacement. Argentina coach then confirmed that Di Maria would need to go for a scan. Even though the injury does not seem to be serious, the blow received by the player was qualified as being quite tough.
The Argentinian star player is hoping for a regain of form to be able to participate in the match against Arsenal. He recently wrote on Twitter that his injury was just a blow and that if the swelling attenuates completely.
Nani, who is considered by many to be the villain of the store, has recently revealed that he would be keen to resume his Manchester United career after his loan with Portugal will be over. Nani is optimistic as to his performance and hopes that everything goes in a positive way. When questioned about his intention to join United again Nani confirmed that this would be an opportunity.
Manchester United’s injury list is gaining length with players such as Daley Blind, Phil Jones, Falcao, Marcos Rojo and David de Gea suffering from various injuries during the international break.
